Ask the angels for help
An encounter with a channelled entity called Gabriel offers guidance on vocation — and three questions worth sitting with.
On Sunday night I went to a very interesting little group led by a man who channels an entity who goes by the name of Gabriel.
I know from spiritism that spirits will often claim identities that are familiar to us and that they may, or may not, be part of a phalange that supports a highly evolved spirit by that name. I do not know if this is also the case with angels, and if this was in fact, the Archangel Gabriel. My rational mind says it was not, but i had no doubt that the information being communicated came from a space of love and was elevated in its nature.
The process began with a guided meditation, then an invocation, followed by the incorporation process. After incorporation there was a discourse about the reasons for and nature of the changes that are occurring in the world right now. After the discourse there was an opportunity to ask a question.
Of course, I asked for guidance about the most suitable employment. I will spare you the details on that point, except to say that change is coming. I have asked this question because I am at a point in life where I am about to make a change in my core reality because I have outgrown nearly everything (workwise?) I have participated in to this point. I have outgrown it because I have learned everything I can from it and it is no longer of service to me. Therefore, holding on to my current employment will not serve me in any way – except to keep me trapped in the same place.
Coming up is a time of re-evaluating and emptying out to create the space to make new choices. I have an opportunity, for the first time in my life, because of where I am at in my growth, to really take ownership of and learn what it is to have this gift of freedom of choice that the divine has given as an individual expression of its being and to use it to fulfil the expression of the self love of that individual expression that I am.
Gabriel suggested I reflect the following questions on in order to get clarity about the nature of the employment that is most suitable for me. He suggested I sit and write down…
- What do I love?
- What are my talents?
- Have I been doing what I love that is related to honoring and practising and exploring my talents, abilities and qualities of being that are uniquely innate within me?
If this is done, then it will be easier to choose.
I was also reminded that a work related expression is simply a tool to exercise your talents, abilities and qualities that relate to the creative truth of who you are. You can do what you love and what you want to, rather than what you have to to survive.
